Team Building events

We offer 3 different kind of team-build food courses in Johannesburg, paired with selected fine wine from Haut Espoir.

Our cooking / food team build events are for a minimum of 15 people. Customers can book one of our 3 venues or select a venue of their choice (additional charges may apply).

1. Interactive team building : sushi-making

15 – 20 people sushi making

Price: R400 per person or including paired wine R445 per person or you are welcome to bring your own drinks

Demonstration by Master Japanese Chef Miyamoto how to make:

  1. California rolls,
  2. Nigiri sushi
  3. Hand rolls

Each student will work in teams of two per board to make all 3 different kinds of sushi which you can enjoy with a glass of wine arranged by the organiser.

The above interactive sushi making can take place at your venue of choice or we can arrange to book a demonstration kitchen in JHB which will be charged separately.

2. Interactive team-building : Fusion-style sushi-making

15 – 20 people sushi making

Price: R420 per person or including paired wine R465 per person or you are welcome to bring your own drinks

Demonstration by Master Japanese Chef Miyamoto how to make:

  1. Prawn tempura California rolls
  2. Grilled chicken & spring onion fashion sandwiches with sweet chilli sauce
  3. Spicy salmon roses

Each student will work in teams of two per board to make all 3 different kinds of sushi which you can enjoy with a glass of wine arranged by the organiser.

The above interactive sushi making can take place at your venue of choice or we can arrange to book a demonstration kitchen in JHB which will be charged separately

3. Mediterranean team building cooking courses inspired by Terry:

15 – 20 people

Price: R420 per person or including paired wine R465 per person or you are welcome to bring your own drinks

Demonstration and interactive making of the following menu:

  1. Spanakopita – spinach and feta pie
  2. Greek-style lamb souvlakia
  3. Shish Taouk (sumac, lemon, garlic and olive oil chicken skewers)
  4. Fattoush salad
  5. Toum (garlic, lemon and yogurt dip)
  6. Baklava

Group will be divided into groups of 4 – 5 to make one or two particular item but all will learn how to make each item and receive recipes of each item and enjoy the full meal with drinks arranged by organiser

The course above will need to take place at a cooking kitchen with facilities which can be costed separately in a quotation
